Discussion on the Environment

Event: The World Around Us: A Coffeehouse Discussion on Environment

An informal discussion will be held looking at the environmental component of sustainability. This session will take a closer look at climate change and managing natural resources, recognizing our health and social and economic well-being are fundamentally linked to the quality of our environment. Join us Thursday, January 27th, 5:30pm-6:30pm to listen to a guest speaker followed by interactive displays at Café Guido’s.

Featuring guest speaker Tim Clermont from the Nature Trust of British Columbia.

Youth Planning Event

Event: “Our Community: Our Voice” A Port Hardy Youth Event
Date: Wednesday, January 26, 2011 and February 22-23, 2011
Location: Port Hardy Elementary schools and High School

Student Sessions will be held at the Port Hardy Elementary schools and High School. These sessions will be held on Wednesday, January 26th and February 22-23rd. This is an opportunity for Port Hardy youth to share their hopes and vision for the community.
