Elections were held on July 2 to elect four new councilors. Crystal Walkus, John Walkus and Victor Walkus were elected to council. There was a tie between Gary Walkus and Mildred Dubitski for the fourth council position, and a run-off election for them was held on July 23. Gary Walkus was re-elected. The outgoing councilors are Sandra Charlie, Sheldon Powell, and Mary (Dodie) Rufus.
